The company was established in 1995 and became Limited in 2005. It was awarded Chartered Status on 3rd January 2008. All Chartered companies commit to the CII's Code of Ethics & Conduct reinforcing the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings.
We have an office based in Colchester, Essex, and have easy access and parking. Currently we have four Financial Planning & Mortgage Consultants, and an administration team who are highly qualified in their own right.
As a company we are directly authorised by the Financial Services Authority, and are also members of the Simply Biz who give compliance & business support.
Peter Emery BA(Hons) Chartered Financial Planner
 Peter Emery is the Managing Director of Emery (IFA) Ltd, which was founded in September 1995. Peter entered the insurance industry in 1985 as a Graduate entrant to Scottish Equitable PLC, where he worked for 10 years, prior to founding this company.
Emery (IFA) Ltd was established with the aim of providing quality holistic financial advice. As a Chartered Financial Planner, Peter is one the top 5% of advisers in the UK by qualification. This high level of qualification enables detailed advice to be given in many complex areas.
Emery (IFA) Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
The FSA do not regulate some forms of mortgages.
